Petroleum jelly or cuticle oil
Nail polish remover
Cotton ball
1: Apply a generous layer of petroleum jelly or cuticle oil around each nail.
 2: Tear off small pieces of cotton from the ball, just big enough to cover each nail.
3: Saturate these pieces in nail polish remover and place them over each nail for about two minutes.
 4: Take the remnants of the cotton ball and press down at the base of your nail and slide it, from the cuticle towards the tip.
 5: The polish will come off in an instant and there will be no stains at all!
Why this works
The petroleum jelly or cuticle oil acts as a barrier between the dark nail polish and your skin, thereby preventing any sort of staining.
